Lovely days

We've been having my favorite weather: sunny and not too warm. Last weekend, on Easter, when the too-near highway noise had died down to a whisper, I sat out on my deck and watched the prayer flags sending our hopes to heaven on the breeze.

Lovely days, indeed. The same was true here in CO over the weekend. Spent Saturday snowboarding in Breckenridge -- their final weekend of the season. Pure CO blue skies and 60 degrees, with exceptionally yummy slush to play in. Yesterday was complete with a crazy hailstorm in which torrents of hail danced and bounced around the yard as though someone had dumped gumballs from the sky. It was sooo good to hear thunder and experience a spring storm; it was almost as good as being back in STL. As I sit in my apartment this evening, it is 30 degrees and snowing outside...

BTW, do hope to learn the details of your next venture to CO -- less than two weeks away! Am I going to get to see you?

It is pleasant.

Full disclosure, though: I carefully avoided capturing any view into the Fitzgerald Auto Mall, across the little drainage gully from my apartment complex. Anyway, it'll soon to be shrouded by the just-now-leafing trees.
