A couple friends have asked about how Rudy's adapting to this place. No, Rudy has not found a way to explore the area on his own (this in response to an erstwhile keeper of Rudy's). And, yes, Rudy has quickly taken up guard duty in the apartment, as Joe describes.
All three of us went to Arlington VA for dinner with Tom & Kristine on Sunday. Rudy settled into the car - less than 24 hours after his cross-country drive - with apparant resignation. I'm certain he thinks the CAR is his new home.
There's a dalmnation living downstairs that barks at everything and nothing. Rudy, thank heavens, mostly ignores its blathering.
