Wow! These are fabulous pictures. I can't quite figure out why the "others" didn't make the cut, and yes, I looked at every one.

Thanks. Vicarious travel may not be quite as satisfying as the in-the-flesh kind, but it is travel, and has some definite advantages: pre-screened itinerary, affordable, can visit again and again, it fits into one's schedule, no shots required, you can drink the water, the weather is always the way you like it, etc. One doesn't get the surprises of in-the-flesh travel -- neither the fun surprises nor the not so fun ones....
Thanks for sharing the pix.
The hanging on the cliffs village reminds me of a village in Rajasthan, India-Udaipur (sp?) -on the side of a lake at the foot of the mountains. In the middle of the lake is the king's summer palace, made famous by, among other things, the James Bond movie Octupussy.

What was the criterion for people pix?

Impressive compositions! I especially like "motorcycle & purple tie" along with "profile with red beard" and that dragon slide sure looks fun. Happy to see how happy you are. Miss you, though these pictures help fill in the gaps.

You've also made me realize what a slacker I am for not yet doing anything with my Guatemala pictures.
